- 0.35 – 0.6 mm per face; 0.4 and 0.5 mm are most common
- Colours
- White (RAL 9002 / 9010) is most common; others on request
- Applications
- Roofs and walls of stores, hangars, plants, cold rooms and site offices
EPS polystyrene sandwich panels
Most economical and lightest — for stores, hangars and temporary buildings.

Approximate values for panels with two 0.4 mm steel skins and typical core densities. Actual specifications (skin thickness, density, profile, colour) vary by manufacturer and are confirmed in the quotation. U-values are for the core only, excluding joints.
Frequently asked questions
What sandwich panel thickness is best for a roof?
50 mm is one of the most used roof thicknesses. For air-conditioned buildings use 75 – 100 mm PU, and 100 – 150 mm for cold rooms.
EPS or PU sandwich panels?
EPS is cheaper and lighter; PU insulates about 1.5× better for the same thickness and resists moisture better; rock wool is chosen for fire resistance.
How much does a sandwich panel weigh per m²?
A 50 mm panel with 0.4 mm skins weighs roughly 7 kg/m² (EPS), 8.3 kg/m² (PU) or 11.8 kg/m² (rock wool).
How are sandwich panels priced?
Per square metre, depending on core type and thickness, skin thickness, colour, quantity and delivery location.
